Synopsis

Three siblings live on the seashore, on the north coast of Cuba. Through the games and the context that surrounds them, we gradually discover the absence of their parents who immigrated off the island. 

Director Biography

Born in 1987, Laura Gabay studied documentary filmmaking at HEAD – Geneva (Switzerland) and EICTV (Cuba). Since 2017, she has worked as a director and producer at Ecran-Mobile and since 2018 she has been producing and animating Super 8 film workshops for adults and children with several institutions. Her short film «Enquête 62» (2016), was selected by several film festivals and won the public prize of the Festival International Filmets (Badalona). Her short film «Viento dulce salado» (2019) has been selected by Visions du réel and IDFA.
