Jocelyne Abi Gebrayel

Born in Lebanon, Jocelyne Abi Gebrayel studied Audio-Visual at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik-Lebanon and received her diploma in 2000.

Since then she has worked as Director of Photography on several award winning short/long movies and documentary films. Her works include, amongst others: Silent Majority, 12 Angry Lebanese, As the Poet Said, Those Who Remain, You Come From Far Away, Beirut: Eye of the Storm.

جوسلين أبي جبرائيل

ولدت جوسلين أبي جبرائيل في لبنان. درست الفنون السمعية والبصرية في جامعة روح القدس-الكسليك في لبنان، وحصلت على الدبلوم عام ٢٠٠٠.

منذ ذلك الحين، عملت كمديرة تصوير في العديد من الأفلام القصيرة و الطويلة والأفلام الوثائقية الحائزة على جوائز.

تشمل أعمالها: "الأغلبية الصامتة"، "١٢ لبناني غاضب"، "كما قال الشاعر"، "ميل يا غزيل"، "تأتون من بعيد"، "بيروت في عين العاصفة"، وغيرها من الأعمال.

Directors’ Biography

Cecilia Atan

Cecilia Atán was born in 1978 in Buenos Aires. She began her career as an intern with director Eduardo Mignogna on the set of EL FARO in 1998, which starred Ricardo Darín.
She then became an assistant director before making her first short film, EL MAR, which was invited to the Short Film Corner in Cannes in 2012, before screening in competition at festivals in Biarritz and Mar del Plata.
In 2015, she directed the documentary series in eight episodes, MADRES DE PLAZA DE MAYO, LA HISTORIA, which was nominated for the International Emmy Awards the following year.
LA FIANCÉE DU DÉSERT is her first fiction feature film. Cecilia Atán is also co-founder of the production company El Perro En La Luna, alongside Sebastián Mignogna and Guido Mignogna.

Valeria Pivato

Valeria Pivato was born in 1973 in Buenos Aires. After studying design and filmmaking, she began working as an assistant director, script supervisor and casting director.
She worked notably with Juan José Campanella on LE FILS DE LA MARIÉE in 2001, and on DANS SES YEUX, which won the Oscar for best foreign language film in 2010.
She worked as script supervisor on NORDESTE by Juan Solanas, which screened in Un Certain Regard at Cannes in 2005. In 2008, she worked with Pablo Trapero on LEONERA, which was presented in competition at the Festival de Cannes.
In 2013, she won the Patagonik International Screenwriters Competition with BEFORE AND AFTER... AND AFTER AGAIN. In 2017, she co-directed her first feature film, LA FIANCÉE DU DÉSERT, with Cecilia Atán.

سيسيليان أتان

ولدت سيسيليا أتان عام ١٩٧٨ في بوينس آيرس. بدأت حياتها المهنية كمتدربة مع المخرج إدواردو مينيوجنا في فيلم EL FARO عام ١٩٩٨، والذي قام ببطولته ريكاردو دارين. 

أصبحت بعد ذلك مخرجةٍ مساعدةٍ قبل إنتاج أول فيلمٍ قصير لها، EL MAR، والذي تم دعوته إلى ركن الأفلام القصيرة في مدينة كان عام ٢٠١٢،  قبل عرضه في المنافسة في مهرجانات Biarritz و Mar del Plata.

في عام ٢٠١٥ قامت بإخراج المسلسل الوثائقي MADRES DE PLAZA DE MAYO ،LA HISTORIA،  المؤلف من ثمانِ حلقات، والذي تم ترشيحه لجوائز إيمي الدولية في العام التالي. 

يُعد فيلم "عروس الصحراء" أول فيلمٍ روائيٍ طويل لها. 

سيسيليا أتان هي أيضاً مؤسسة مشاركة لشركة الإنتاج El Perro En La Luna، إلى جانب سيباستيان مينيوجنا وجويدو مينيوجنا.

فاليريا بيفاتو

ولدت فاليريا بيفاتو عام ١٩٧٣ في بوينس آيرس. بعد دراسة التصميم وصناعة الأفلام، بدأت العمل كمساعدة مخرج، مشرفة سيناريو ومديرة إختيار الطاقم التمثيلي.           

عملت كثيراً مع خوان خوسيه كامبانيلا في فيلم LE FILS DE LA MARIÉE عام ٢٠١١، وفيلم DANS SES YEUX الذي فاز بجائزة الأوسكار لأفضل فيلم باللغة الأجنبية عام ٢٠١٠.   

كما عملت كمشرفة سيناريو في فيلم NORDESTE للمخرج خوان سولاناس، والذي تم عرضه في Un Certain Regard في مهرجان كان عام ٢٠٠٥.

في عام ٢٠٠٨، عملت مع بابلو ترابيرو في فيلم LEONERA، والذي تم تقديمه في المنافسة في مهرجان كان.

فازت بمسابقة باتاغونيك الدولية لكتاب السيناريو عن BEFORE AND AFTER... AND AFTER AGAIN عام ٢٠١٣.
في عام ٢٠١٧ ، شاركت في إخراج فيلمها الطويل الأول "عروس الصحراء" مع سيسيليا أتان.
