Azza Chaabouni
Azza Chaabouni is a Tunisian teacher-researcher, independent film programmer and serves as an expert and consultant on film projects and for national and international cultural organizations.
From 2014 to 2019, she was head of TAKMIL workshop (JCC). From 2018 to 2020, she was responsible for Ciné Par’Court خطوات, a short film production program for Talents based in Tunisia. She is also a founding member of Doc House-Tunisia.
Since 2020, she’s been collaborating with MedFilm Festival in Rome.
Azza studied cinema in Cinecittà-Rome. And pursued a Master degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology in Tunis.

عزة شعبوني معلمة وباحثة تونسية، مبرمجة أفلام مستقلة، وتعمل كخبيرة ومستشارة لمشاريع الأفلام والمنظمات الثقافية الوطنية والدولية.
كانت رئيسة ورشة عمل "تكميل" في مهرجان قرطاج الدولي خلال الأعوام ما بين ٢٠١٤ و٢٠١٩.
كما كانت مسؤولة عن Ciné Par’Court خطوات ما بين ٢٠١٨ و٢٠٢٠ وهو برنامج إنتاج فيلم قصير للمواهب مقره في تونس.
هي أيضاً عضوٌ مؤسس في Doc House-Tunisia. وبدأت منذ عام ٢٠٢٠ بالتعاون مع مهرجان MedFilm في روما.
درست عزة السينما في إستديوهات سينيسيتا في روما. وحصلت على درجة الماجستير في الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية والثقافية بتونس.

Halina Dyrschka
Halina Dyrschka was born in Berlin, Germany and is active as a director and producer. After studying acting, classical singing and film production she founded the company AMBROSIA FILM in Berlin.
Her first film as a director the short film “9andahalf’s Goodbye” was shown at over 40 film festivals worldwide and has won several awards. BEYOND THE VISIBLE – HILMA AF
KLINT marks her directorial feature documentary debut and is the first and only film on the Swedish artist Hilma af Klint.

هالينا ديرشكا ولدت في برلين بألمانيا، وهي مخرجة ومنتجة نشطة.
بعد دراسة التمثيل والغناء الكلاسيكي والإنتاج السينمائي قامت بتأسيس شركة AMBROSIA FILM في برلين.
عُرض فيلمها القصير "9andahalf’s Goodbye" كمخرجة في أكثر من ٤٠ مهرجان سينمائي حول العالم وفاز بالعديد من الجوائز.
يُعد فيلم "ما وراء المرئي - هيلما آف كلينت" أول فيلمٍ وثائقي طويل لها، وهو الفيلم الأول والوحيد حول الفنانة السويدية هيلما أوف كلينت.

Film Synopsis
The art world is confronted with a sensational discovery – a hundred years too late! How could it happen, that an artist who discovered abstract painting at the beginning of the 20th century remained largely unnoticed? Hilma af Klint’s first abstract painting is dated 1906, four years before that of Vassily Kandinsky. Why was she ignored?
This is the first film about her life and work. It investigates the role accorded to women in art history and asks why Hilma af Klint was scandalously denied the status of a pioneer of modern art. And how this recognition is now finally taking place. Today her exhibitions are attracting millions of people worldwide.
The cinematic approach of her paintings reveals an artist who is seeking for meaning in life beyond the visible. Hilma af Klint’s clairvoyant work developed a unique visual world and more than 25.000 pages of notes reveal a boundless thinking that led into an outstanding oeuvre.
