ملخص الفيلم

فيلم “ساعة التحرير دقت” هو وثيقة نادرة عن ثورة منسية، فهو الوثيقة الوحيدة المصورة عن ثورة ظفار في الخليج العربي، تلك الثورة الشعبية التي دعت إلى تحرير المرأة وحملت فيها النساء السلاح إلى جانب الرجال. تم قمع الثورة بعنف ولكن كاميرا هيني سرور استطاعت أن تحتفظ بذاكرتها للتاريخ حتى لا يتم نسيانها. “ساعة التحرير دقت” هو أول فيلم لمخرجة عربية يتم عرضه في مهرجان كان عام ١٩٧٤

Film Synopsis

"The Hour of Liberation has arrived" is a rare document about a forgotten revolution. It is the only documentary depicted on the Dhofar rebellion in the Arabian Gulf, that popular rebellion that called for the liberation of women and in which women took up arms alongside men. The revolution was violently suppressed, but Heiny Srour's camera was able to preserve its memory for history so that it would not be forgotten. “The Hour of Liberation has arrived” is the first film by an Arab women director to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 1974.

هيني سرور مخرجة أفلام لبنانية. كانت أول مخرجة عربية يشارك فيلمها "ساعة التحرير دقت" في مهرجان كان السينمائي عام ١٩٧٤. ولدت هيني سرور في بيروت عام ١٩٤٥ ودرست العلوم الاجتماعية في الجامعة الأمريكية ببيروت ثم حصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية من جامعة السوربون، تعتبر هيني من المدافعات عن حقوق المرأة من خلال أفلامها وكتابتها

Director Biography

Heiny Srour is a Lebanese filmmaker. She was the first Arab woman director to have a film, Saat El Tahrir Dakkat or The Hour of Liberation Has Arrived, chosen for the Cannes Film Festival in 1974. Born in 1945 in Beirut, Srour studied sociology at the American University in Beirut and then completed a doctorate in social anthropology at the Sorbonne. Srour advocated for women's rights through her films and her writing.
