BWFC | Film Consultancy Program (3rd Round)

General Information: The Film Consultancy Program welcomes Arab filmmakers with projects at any stage of production (development, production, or post-production). A total of three films will be chosen to participate in a three-month program, receiving personalized consultancy sessions from industry professionals (please find information below). Submissions are open to both male and female Arab filmmakers. The Deadline to submit for the third round is September 30th, 2024. Eligibility Requirements: Fiction and documentary projects are eligible for consideration. Both feature and short films are eligible for application; priority will be given to feature films. Graduation projects are not eligible to apply. Submissions are open to both male and female Arab filmmakers. Filmmakers applying to the program must have previous works, such as short films or feature films, video art, etc. Mentors and Areas of Development: Amal Ramsis: Develops scripts and narratives for both fiction and documentary projects. Jocelyne Abi Gebrayel: Handles cinematography, visual treatment, and develops the film's visual style. Jana Wahbe: Manages production, creatively develops the story, handles budgeting, and pitches the project. Rana Eid: Focuses on sound design and explores how sound can enhance and advance the storytelling process. Sound is considered from the earliest stages of film development. Gladys Joujou: Specializes in editing and works on the rough cut. Editing is considered from the earliest stages of film development. Rabab Haj Yahya: Specializes in editing and works on the rough cut. Editing is considered from the earliest stages of film development.
